The European Judo Union will hold its only online photography workshop of 2026 on 24 September. The session offers national federations, regional judo clubs, local organising committees and freelance photographers an opportunity to obtain the relevant certification.
Since 2026, photographers seeking official accreditation for EJU events have been required to hold the appropriate photography certification. The system is intended to improve the quality, professionalism and consistency of photographic coverage across EJU competitions.
This workshop is the final online opportunity to obtain the certification in 2026. Eligibility, course content and registration requirements should be checked in the official workshop outline.
The policy also reflects the increasingly structured role of media professionals at modern judo events. Photographers require not only technical skill but also an understanding of competition procedures, venue rules, athlete safety and professional conduct.
