The Erasmus+ DATA Project, which the European Judo Union takes part in, held its conference "Education & Training – Digital Transformation for Sport Organisations" in Lisbon on 30 September; the EJU published its report on 8 October. The event was co-organised by the Sport Foundation (DATA Consortium), the Municipality of Lisbon and the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth, and drew 2,065 online participants alongside 75 attending in person.

Sessions covered artificial intelligence in sports management, high-performance training and organisational decision-making, and introduced two project outputs: the DATA (Digital Administrative and Training Assistant) Academy Platform and the Sport AI Training Optimisation App (SAITO). Participants came from national anti-doping organisations, sports authorities, universities, municipalities and the software industry — digital transformation is a whole-of-sport subject rather than a judo-only one.
