The 2026 Maruchan Cup All Japan Youth Judo Tournament was held at the Tokyo Budokan on 20 September. Organised by the All Japan Judo Federation, it is a major date in Japanese youth judo, with the elementary and junior-high categories contested on the same day.
Gifu Kita Judo Club won the elementary title, with Kuji Municipal Mifune Judan Memorial Hall second and Asahi Dojo and Hatano Dojo sharing third.
Gojo Higashi Junior High School took the junior-high girls' title, USA Ogura Juku finished second and Keiai Junior High School and Ikushinkan Uchiyama Dojo shared third.
Tokai University Sagami Junior High School won the junior-high boys' event, with Kokushikan Junior High School second and Judo Japan Sapporo Judo Club and Miyazaki Kids sharing third.
The tournament is run as a team competition, giving young judoka competitive experience at elementary and junior-high level. It also serves as a meeting point for dojo and school teams from across Japan.
