Judo at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will take place from 31 July to 2 August, with fourteen men's and women's categories contested across three days. The International Judo Federation event page currently lists 174 athletes from 41 countries and territories, including 99 men and 75 women.
The opening day features the men's under-60 kg and under-66 kg categories, together with the women's under-48 kg, under-52 kg and under-57 kg divisions. Day two includes men's under-73 kg and under-81 kg, as well as women's under-63 kg and under-70 kg. The final day concludes with men's under-90 kg, under-100 kg and over-100 kg, plus women's under-78 kg and over-78 kg.
Hosts Scotland have named a 13-member judo squad. One of the leading home names is Sarah Adlington in the women's over-78 kg category. The two-time Commonwealth Games champion will compete for a third title in front of a home crowd. England have selected fourteen judoka, filling seven men's and seven women's places.
The Glasgow Commonwealth Games run from 23 July to 2 August, with judo included among the ten sports on the programme. The representative structure differs from the regular IJF circuit, with England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland competing as separate teams.
