The Asian Cadet and Junior Judo Championships have concluded in Amman, Jordan, with four young judoka representing Hong Kong, China.
TSANG Hok Sum competed in the cadet women’s -44 kg category. The junior team included KHAN Gavreil Shanran Loo E, YEUNG Wing Yat and MAK Ching Man, with MAK finishing seventh in the women’s -63 kg category.
IJF competition records place Hong Kong, China joint 13th in the junior standings. The championships gave the young team direct experience of different styles and contest rhythms from across Asia, an important part of developing at international level.
