The Sergei Judo Camp is taking place from 19 to 25 July in Fiesch, high in the Swiss Alps. The programme is designed for competition-level judoka aged 14 and over, with technical practice, randori, physical preparation and contest-focused training.
Training with unfamiliar partners offers more than additional mat time. Different gripping patterns, rhythms and attacking habits force young judoka to adapt quickly while learning from athletes and coaches outside their usual environment.
The camp follows the Timeless judo tournament in Visp, while the wider programme also includes a visit to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. Competition, cultural exchange and concentrated training form one journey, giving young athletes a broader view of international sport.
