The second part of the Kodokan 2026 Summer Course will run from 20 to 24 July in Tokyo. The five-day programme follows the first part of the annual summer training period.
The Kodokan has arranged two classes: Course A for first to third dan holders, and Course B for first-kyu practitioners and below. Participants aged 13 and above may apply, subject to the published requirements.
The summer course remains one of the Kodokan calendar’s regular opportunities for judoka to train in a structured setting. It brings together practitioners at different stages for instruction, practice and study at the home of Kodokan judo.
