Paris Saint-Germain Judo won the ECC Champions League for the third year in a row, beating Red Star Belgrade 4-3 in the final at the Dojo de Paris on 24 October.

The tie went to a seventh contest. With the teams level at 3-3, the draw selected -73kg and Joan-Benjamin Gaba, who had opened the scoring in the same category, took the Golden Score bout against Vukašin Sokić with a yuko 1:49 into extra time.

Gaba had given Paris the lead with an osae-komi win over Sokić. Nauana Silva levelled at -70kg, throwing Manon Deketer for ippon with under 30 seconds left, and Nemanja Majdov put Red Star ahead at -90kg by beating Theodoros Tselidis in Golden Score. Shirlen Nascimento then equalised at -57kg, countering Marica Perišić for ippon 1:19 into extra time to make it 3-3 and send the title to a final contest.

Paris had reached the final with a quarter-final against Judo Club Konar, decided by Deketer, and a semi-final against SGS Judo in which Clarisse Carillon, Dayyan Boulemtafes, Deketer and Zelim Tckaev all scored. Baptiste Leroy coaches the squad of 17, and Teddy Riner was at the Dojo de Paris to support his club-mates.

Kazakhstan's Jenys took one bronze, beating Judo Nice Métropole in a Golden Score decider after the tie finished 3-3, and ACBB Boulogne took the other with a win over SGS Judo.

The club has not lost a Champions League tie since the mixed-team format began in 2024.
