The 2026 Macau Asian Cadet and Junior Cups were held on 25 and 26 July. Hong Kong, China finished the two-day programme with two bronze medals, one fifth-place result and four seventh-place finishes.

Macau Asian Cadet Cup

On the opening day, TSANG Hok Sum won bronze in women’s -44 kg and KWAN Chui Yi won bronze in women’s -63 kg. LIN Hau finished seventh in men’s -66 kg.

In women’s -44 kg, TSANG Hok Sum finished behind Mongolia’s champion TSOGBADRAKH Amin-Erdene and Belarus’s runner-up KNIAZEVA Aliaksandra. In women’s -63 kg, KWAN Chui Yi shared third place with Chinese Taipei’s TSAI Peng-En, while Korea’s KWAK Yuju won the title.

Macau Asian Junior Cup

On 26 July, CHAN Tsz Kwan finished fifth in women’s -70 kg. KHAN Isabel Sharan Loo E, LI Lok I and LAU Wan Lok each finished seventh in women’s -48, -52 and -57 kg respectively. No Hong Kong, China male athlete finished inside the top seven.

The two events followed the Hong Kong, China home competitions held the previous weekend, giving local youth judoka two consecutive weeks of Asian-level competition in Hong Kong and Macau.
