The Sarajevo European Open will be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 18 and 19 July. IJF competition information lists LAU Wan Lok as the athlete representing Hong Kong, China at the event.
For a young judoka, a European Open provides an opportunity to meet different judo traditions and competition styles. With athletes from many countries and regions in the draw, the challenge includes adapting quickly to different grips, pace and tactical choices.
LAU Wan Lok has also recorded results in IJF competitions. This solo appearance for Hong Kong, China is another international test and an opportunity to continue building experience on the European circuit.
