Australian young judoka Rika HIROSE has reached No.1 in the IJF Cadet Women -48kg World Ranking, marking an important achievement for Australia’s next generation of judo athletes.

According to the official International Judo Federation (IJF) World Ranking List, Rika HIROSE is currently ranked No.1 in the Cadet Women -48kg category with 662 ranking points. The ranking reflects her consistent performance across recent international cadet competitions.

Her recent results include 3rd place at the Faro Millennium Team Cadet European Cup in May 2026, 2nd place at the Bielsko Biala Millennium Team Cadet European Cup in May 2026, and 1st place at the Gyor Millennium Team Cadet European Cup in 2025.

For Australian judo, having a young athlete reach the top of an IJF Cadet world ranking is a notable achievement. The Cadet category is an important stage in international youth judo, and reaching No.1 at this level shows that HIROSE has already established herself as a strong competitor on the international stage.
